Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Hopf Austrian Educational Competence Centre Physics
Research Focus: The Austrian Educational Competence Centre Physics was founded in 2007. In a framework of Conceptual Change and Design-Based research, we develop and assess Teaching-Learning-Sequences for middle and high school physics classrooms. Large projects of the past focused on the 2D-Dynamics-Curriculum, at the moment we work on students’ learning of radiation. Additionally we have a focus on the development of the PCK of pre-service physics teachers.
