Our main focus is Visual Data Analysis. There is a range of topics that deal with how lay people understand data visualizations. We are working together with Data Journalists on design guidelines for good DataVis for broad audiences. We develop measurement instruments on how to quickly assess visual literacy. Collaborations have ranged from different news papers, to the Austrian Parlament and ministries, to UN Agencies and local companies.
